Lakes of Boulder Ridge is located in southern McHenry County just northwest of Algonquin Road and Frank Road. It is just a few minutes' drive from Huntley, Algonquin, and Crystal Lake. In addition to Boulder Ridge Country Club, Lakes of Boulder Ridge is very close to several golf courses, including Golf Club of Illinois, and Redtail Golf Club. There are many nearby trails, forest preserves, and parks nearby, including Exner Marsh Conservation Area and Ted Spella Community Park.

6. What Do We Like About Lakes of Boulder Ridge?

We love that residents have the option of joining Boulder Ridge Country Club. Some country club neighborhoods require at least a social membership but at Lakes of Boulder Ridge it's totally optional. With that being said, the amenities at Boulder Ridge are the nicest in the area and include 27 championship holes, private dining, tennis, aerobics and an outdoor resort-style pool with a newly renovated poolside bar. There are many membership tiers including under-40, weekday golf, full golf and social only. The neighborhood is in a great location with plenty of parks, nature preserves, lakes, and golf courses just a short drive away. We like the convenience of an HOA that takes care of landscaping and snow removal. We also like the waterfront homes and the upscale vibe of Lakes of Boulder Ridge.
