The entire park is woven with hiking trails. Veteran Acres Park is a 140-acre site offering the quiter side of recreation with nature trails, cross country skiing, splash pad, sledding hill and a fishing pier.
Crystal Lake has easy access to Route 14 and Route 31 providing plenty shopping and dining. It also has some of the top rated schools in the state. Every July Fourth weekend is Lakeside Fest, which is located near Crystal Lake and has music, food, carnival, parade and an amazing firework show!
