Highland Estates is located south of Route 12 and west of Spring Grove Road in Spring Grove, Illinois. There are restaurants, grocery stores and several other commercial properties located within a 2-minute drive away along the Rt 12 corridor. Spring Grove as a whole is a great location for anyone who loves fishing, hiking, or biking around the many parks, lakes, and nature preserves of northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Richardson Adventure Farm is only ten minutes away and offers year-round festivals and activities. Highland Estates is also close to the town of Wilmot, WI--home of the Wilmot Mountain Ski Resort, as well as local restaurant favorite: The Wilmot Stage Stop. The Chain O' Lakes State Park is only about 10 minutes away, and Lake Geneva, WI is only about 25 minutes away. There are also some great golf courses nearby on both sides of the border, including the Grand Geneva golf courses and Hawk's View in Wisconsin, and Chapel Hill, Oak Grove, and Prairie Isle in Illinois.
